Parody: An English Country Garden

(inspired by the music of Percy Grainger)

It is a pain

To work in the rain

In an English country garden

And it’s no more fun

Just slogging in the sun

In an English country garden

When you plant some seeds

They’re smothered by the weeds

And the slugs and snails enjoy a feast!

So to get all these flowers

You spend untiring hours

In an English country garden!
